Impressions from Golden Bay

On our Day Trip “Abel Tasman and Golden Bay in One Day” we visit Golden Bay in the afternoon.

Love Motueka

The town of Motueka in the South Island of New Zealand lies close to the mouth of the Motueka River, on the western shore of Tasman Bay.

Motueka Airport – Abel Tasman

New Zealand’s most exciting airport! Microlights, Hanggliding, Sky Diving, Fly your own Stunt-plane and Helicopter.

The Blue Edge of Home

I have the most beautiful home in the world and the edges of it are blue. Filmed over 4 months using DJI Phantom and GoPro.

Our aim

To show you our region in a day we created some day tours with different activities. I. e. we can bring you to picture perfect beaches Kaiteriteri and Totaranui in the Abel Tasman Park and offer a cruise between these two beaches. We include Takaka in Golden Bay with its outstanding selection of cafes, shops and art. We show you the sacred treasure to the local Maori: Waikoropupu Springs, the largest cold water springs in the Southern Hemisphere. All this while you can enjoy breathtaking scenery on our bus tour and cruise. The trip includes short optional walks. Other day trips offer wine tasting, taste our local food, play golf…

We love our home town Motueka

As the closest town to the Abel Tasman National Park, Motueka makes a great base to explore the region further. Motueka offers plenty of cafes and a colourful Sunday outdoor market. It is located in the center of a rich hinterland where orchards, vineyards and hop gardens flourish, you can pick your own berries in season and enjoy local apples pears and kiwifruit. The Motueka River is famed for its Brown Trout and fly-fishing lodges. The nearby Riwaka Resurgence, off the Riwaka Valley Road is one of our favourite places. The source of the Riwaka River is an underground spring and you can see the water bubbling out of an underground cave. Just ask us for more secret favourite places.
